“I had just finished cutting a bunch of steel plate for one of my sculptures and I had some interesting triangular pieces left over. I decided to weld them into a bowl shape and make a fire pit. It worked so well that I kept making them, refining each time. Eventually one of my friends asked if I would make one for them, and suddenly I was in business. People really loved the design, and the fire pits almost sold themselves. My goal was always to make the best fire possible, so I designed and tweaked the airflow and bowl shape until it was the most efficient, clean burning, easy to light fire pit that I had ever seen.
